I have bought a TT, an old conway contiki, ( it has the bedroom area and the awning / kitchen / living area all in one.) mine was £350.00.
www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com have brand new ones for £2200.
the only downsides with them, are they still need pegging out, also if you arrive and it is raining, you still have to get very wet whilst you put them up. ( then there is the how do you dry them out) after reading on here, folding campers seems hassle free, and at the Elvestan castle meet, I watched a couple dismantle their pathfinder in about 20 minutes!! lucky people.
Towing - I've never towed before and have a volvo v40, and it is easy - however can't reverse yet!! - got the extra mirrors for when I do.
makes, - get a bottle of wine and trawl through all the headings with your reading glases on, we ought to do a vote on here for the best ones, like a "which " report!!!
good luck anyway
