Well I'm always on here ranting about our rapido confortmatic we love it .It just depends how many you have to sleep? You often see them on ebay selling for between £200 end of season and £800 mid season. If you have a look and like what you see I'm more than willing to try to answer your queries I'm no expert but will answer honestly

Sorry can only comment on the rapido and the age of these is irrelevant as they seem to be so robust not much goes wrong with them!

hi

i recently bought myself a gobur newave folding caravan. I think you have to watch out for body condition and also damp with folding caravans. I didnt pay much for mine but it does need some updating inside and the outside needs some painting. Ive already got myself some lovely new fabric to cover all the cushions and to make some new curtains. Then i intend to see to the interior decor which is a bit tatty. We are very taken with our little one.Have a look on the aol classifieds or on Loot.co.uk and put in folding caravans and you will see the choice available. You might get it cheaper than with ebay! Good luck.

squirtlesmum if you let me have your email address I could send you set up pictures and instructions along with technical data if you want them. Like I said I highly reccommend them and eveyone that sees it is impressed with the room inside too. We are a very large built(fat) family and still have ample room.

Did you get a caravan? I have just looked at a rapido 4 berth, and am undecided whether to but it or not.

What have you looked for in a van?

Thanks

Hi I have just recently bought myself a prompto foldaway caravan and i am a woman of 56 on my own.Took it out for the first time down to Jaywick(yeah i know its the pits really, but there was a reason to go there) anyway as im only 4ft 10ins I did have to get a fellow to help me push up the roof and the side with the cooker/sink/etc,but the rest was easy.I found mine on Ebay and bought it within a day of seeing it.Trust me its dead easy if there is two of you,go for it.Good idea to have awning as well to give that extra space(hence mine has got EN-SUITE) toilet tent really, but worth it,especially during the night, especially if your'e incontinent ha ha.GOOD HUNTING.

Just been reading  reviews on the rapido comfomatic. We are thinking about buying one and wondered if anyone could send me any set up pictures, instructions and technical details and any other info would be welcomed.

Thanks

Got the Rapido exportmatic myself and like poppi cant praise it enough its the looks you get when you open it up and start to put it up or when you start to fold it down that makes me laugh.
