Hello Soulpeeper!
I have a Pennine Pullman at the moment, moving up to a Pathfinder shortly.
Main advantages are that they tow/handle so well. No hight to them, so the wind does not bother them, so normally you do not need to fit a stabiliser.
On site you have a home very quick. Our Pullman takes us about 10mins from unhitching, to making a cup of tea, including hooking up the electric etc.
If you just use the unit on it's own, it's perfect for one night stopover's, no pegging unlike a trailer tent. Then when you you arrive at your location, you have the awning as well, load's of space.
If you purchase a Pathfinder or Crusader, you even have a built in wc. and full oven!

With regard's to mildew, you can get that on any Frame tent, Trailer tent, Folding camper or Caravan awning. You just look after it, if it get's wet, let it dry before packing up. If you have to pack up in the wet, just make sure you dry it as soon as you can when you get home. My Pullman has never had mildew on it. We just open it and let it have a good airing from time to time!
One other point to mention is that my Pullman tows better than my previous Trailer Tent, just have to remember Folding Camper's are sometimes wider than the tow car, so you must you towing mirror's when on the road.
I will never change, Pennine/Conway folder's are best!!!! (Well that's my opinion, and you did ask)
Have fun whatever you decide!
WOODWORM!
