the tt i am looking at tomorrow I thought was 5 years old but in fact is 10 years old.  Raclett Hex, kenya.  Does anyone have experience of this tt.  will parts be easy to get. Would looking at a newer tt be better or is 10 years old not that old in the life of a tt?  HELP

i would say 10 yrs is not old for a tt and if all the things on the tt work than thats good age dosnt matter with tt oh and good luck with the hex you can always look on ebay as there are some hex there ok

Not a "TT" expert, but had a few in earlier year's.

My advice would be, look for a slightly newer Conway. At least parts/advice is freely available from the maker's, and are easy to contact!

We had a TT which was 20 years old and that was in great condition when we sold it so 10 years old is not old,go by the condition it is in not the age !!

Condition is everything...not the age...and though my Raclet Hex is approx 12 yrs old...its still going strong and seving me well...OK Ive had to replace elastic bands(perished with age etc)...The plastic skirting round my main doorway has split..and is held together with gaffer tape...and Ive had to replace one leg from the underbed section...and reproof the sleeping quarters...but thats basicly it...and shes still going strong!!!

If you needed spare parts for a Hex...or any other Raclet model...Ive found the company below to be ideal....with an excellent service...and people who cant do enough to help you........
