We bought our Peninne Stirling at Easter and its been the best money we have spent .just come back from 2 week camping in Guernsey where no carvans are allowed.I too was worried about towing but have just negotiated getting on and off a Condor seacat with no problems. We opted for the Stirling as it was quick and easy to erect ,the awning takes practice which we have now mastered after putting panels on wrong way and not using all the poles ( i wondered why i had 2 spare ) .though for weekends away we wouldn`t dream of putting up awning as the camper is sufficient for us and 3 children .The reversing bit just takes practice ,none of us are experts at it ,i can now reverse it onto most pitches and its light enough for 2 adults to push into tighter places .We tow with an 1800 vectra which tows it with ease .Whatever unit you purchase i am sure you will have some great times and there are still plenty of camping days left before Winter arrives .
