Following my previous post recently, we`ve just bought a brand new..............
Penning Pathfinder (Folding Camper)
The Conways are good but I feel they are cheapened in several areas to pay for the fancy opening mechanism (which is good). The Triganos are good value but still budget campers.
The 2005 Conway colors were a bit dark for us (I know they change in 2006) and we appreciate the king size bed in the Pathfinder. Also, I noticed that there is no support under the beds of the Conways except for around the edges whereas the Pennines have two bars spanning the distance. Admitedly, the Conways probably have thicker plywood under the beds to support and probably support more from around the edges due to their alternative opening mechanism.
Material on the Conway matrassses was slightly inferior to the Pennines as was the springing in the matresses - they seem to have spent the money on the opening system on the Conways.
No really much to choose from between the two top models - we simply preferred the Pennine !
What do you think ? I`m comparing the two top models (2005) Conway or Pennine
