I just emailed Henning and asked him about this, but perhaps others on this forum have a CC from the 80's and could help. To attach the sun canopy requires a little plastic thingie (grommet?). Mine have broken "teeth" and don't fit very well. Does anyone know where I might be able to get some, or have an alternate way of attaching the sun canopy frame to the camper? I am posting a photo of this grommet on my profile page, can't seem to just insert it into this message. THANKS

Yes, you're right, it sure is a tiny one. It is the width of a standard twin bed. I wish I had held out for at least a two-person one, though it does tow behind the car beautifully. It's perfect for one person, though getting the add-a-room attached by myself is pretty stressful, especially since the silly grommet thingies are half-broken!

Manguine Ltd are there because I have just sent an email to its owner.. Somehow I have landed up with alternative email from Red Roofs one not advertised.  I think he must have replied on his personal email at some stage.

I hope you understand that I do not think it would be right to post up what could be a private email here but basically get on the phone or if you want I can foward the message for you .... Its probably fine about the email address but well ...would not feel right doing that.  I think the owners of this site if asked will supply email addresses to individuals so they do not get published on the general web, have not tried it... but if it is any help will ask... I think it is 'Ratty or Webmaster to supply you with my email address.

Hi again.............. that little thing you are asking fore,--- they CC doesn't use them anymore, quess they weren't  after all not good enough, and it's a question if you need it, just as long as you do as I have shown you, hanging that pole in a string, and when you have the front corner pole it's easy to grab the hanging roof pole and put them together. In july I bought a sec.hand 404 and it had the same  plastic thing, don't know what to call them, but the dealer gave me some ,3, new plastic corners, those inside the tent, they are little different, and are not with these stupid plastic things, but I don't think I need to exchange them, the only thing I can say, it could be an advantage if that little spike at the end of the pole, could be bended little more, but it nis allmost impossible. Though, there is an alternative, remove the spike ,and get some that looks more like a little hook. I will have an errand to a camping dealer some day, after these parts, the hooks, and if the have these inside corners I will take a photo of them and mail it to you,the hooks as well, you must be able to get them too where you live.

best of luck.........henning

I did hear back from Combi-Camp (now Scan-Camp?) in Denmark and they can get the thingies for me! Rather expensive but I think I will go that route. They are 27 Euro for 3 of them, including shipping. Henning, looking forward to your photos of the hook thingie! Yes that would help if it hung in there better. Thanks everyone!
