Hello Mishy.

Welcome, we have a sunncamp 250, however have not got awning instructions as we bought second hand, but , all the same I will try to help.

You should have:

3 x poles with hooks on one end, and bending joints in the middle, which when joined make 3 x poles with hooks on 2.5metres long.  These poles hook throught the canvas (small holes) right, centre and left joining into small holes in the frame of the folding trailer frame. When you have got canvas pulled over when all the legs are up you can lenghthen these ceiling poles with a wing nut screw on each to tighthten up the canvas.

1 x  centre leg (bending joint)with plastic half circle to clasp around centre pole.

1 x 4 prong spider to connect into centre pole, leaving a prong for left, right and front poles.

1 x centre leg(bending joint) to match with 4 spider prong facing the ground.

1 x left leg(bending joint) to match with left spider prong.

1 x right  leg (bending joint)to match with right spider prong.

3 x small 15" poles to match with left, centre and right  ceiling poles to got through canvas holes and hold out small canapy.

Practice makes perfect, each time we do our we fall out.

I have now put coloured celotape on each of the matching poles, yet to find out if it will help come spring.

Not sure about waterproffing, maybe every 2nd year?

Hope it was of help.

Shirley & Steve

youve lost me!  I got the bit about the 3 poles that go through the holes to the trailer and then you lost me.  Are the 3 x 2.5m poles that attach the only ones that run the length of the awning? I was planning on building the frame for the awning and attaching it to the trailer bit and then whipping over the canvas.  However, not having a clue what a spider is or whether centre is in the centre sides half way between trailer and front door?  sorry im only a begginer!   Sorry to frustrate you. You seem like the really helpful type!  lol  Ithink i will print of your instructions and they wil make much more sense when i lay them all out.  the coloured tape sounds like a good idea though.

Hi,

If you contact Sunnflair  (www.sunnflair.com) they may well be able to post you one out but be warned it will probably cost you about £4.50 because you will get the booklet too - they won't seperate them.    Hope that helps if no luck anywhere else.

Alas sunncamp sent me one for free after i contacted them again - it looks like a blinkin nightmare.  Anyway it may help but looking at it it is unlikely.  Going to go for maiden put up at weekend (weather pending).  Opting for the group approach!  Will let you know how i get on.

I've got a diagram of the poles with my instructions. They may help. I have the full instructions in PDF format which I can e-mail to you. Click on my Email link and put "SunnCamp Instructions" in the topic. (They also cover the 350 model)
