Conway Camborne - our second Conway TT, we started with a Rio until it shrunk, (or was that the kids getting bigger!?!) Anyway, we have bags of space now.

We put the locker cushions in the bedrooms next to the mattress and cover the whole lot with a mattress cover.  Gives you an extra foot of bedspace.

Have fun in your new TT

Getting fed up with Conway site. Nothing happens for ages than loads of posts in one go which seem to contradict each other, then they get all arsey with each other. What is it with Conway owners anyway – such a clique. What’s wrong with this site, too good for them? You seem to get more info about conways on here anyway and you get input from people with other makes as well. No one looking down their nose at you here.

Pah

Feeling better now

you must be looking at a different conway site ,to the one i look at they dont seem clique or arsey to me, and they never seem to look down their noses, even if you own a pennine , in fact i get the impression with the conway owners site you can go to one of their rallys, with what ever unit you have , not like the pennine owners site , which is pennine or nothing , and  the pennine owners website is not a patch on the conway site,

We have 1999 Conway Classic, much better than a caravan in my opinion. So light which makes it easy to tow.Great build quality and easy to use, plenty of space inside on those rainy days....Enjoy...

We purchased a Conway Classic Trio in 2004. Had some great holidays part of which (sad as it might sound) is trying out different layouts (porch wall) using bed section alone, 1.5 awning or the 2.5 awning.  Must admit it does get easier to put up and down each time - we're down to 1 hr for the tent pegging etc then a cup of tea then the furniture / curtains etc.  Getting used to taking down awnings and majority of fittings the night before leaving now.

Happy camping !

Hi

I had a Conway for a little while, I cant remember which model - it didnt have a kitchen. It was sold to get a caravan.....a decision I ultimately regretted.

Still, its no problem as Ive just bought a hard top folding camper late this season..... so I too am very much looking forward to the spring and trying  it out.

My Conway was about 12 years old when I bought it ,but in excellent condition and had been cherished by the former owners, who had only used it for a fortnight a year on trips over to France.

I paid £300 for mine and it was the first one I looked at.

I went with a friend later on  to view ones with him, when he got the bug, and it was only then that I realised what an absolute bargain I had.

I guess I was buying at the right time of year (Sept/Oct) and the former owners had had their moneys worth out of it. I belive they paid £1800 for it new. They needed to shift it quick as they couldnt store it inside and didnt want to leave it in the garden rotting.

I think they wanted to give me some encouragement. Its nice when you sell stuff to people and you know that they will get pleasure from owning it.

Thats the way I always think!!! It helps me sleep soundly
