Still don't understand what your complaint is about, if the seller said £10 postage and you paid £10 and it was delivered in a reasonable time whats the problem? 1st class post, parcelpost, pony express, swedish model naked on a Yak, who cares what mode of delivery, as long as you get it in a reasonable time and in one piece. Assume it was in a reasonable time and was in one piece, if so fact too (you gotta imagine David Brent saying that bit) whats ya problem?

The point I'm making is that when you advertise a certain type of service and expect that service to cost a certain amount and if it will take an extra couple of days, fair enough.  However, the seller realised it was cheaper to send it via 1st class post to get it there a little sooner - why didn't she give me the option to do this?  No!  She wanted to keep the difference for herself, as she didn't get her Buy it now price!

For it getting there in one piece or having to wait longer for it, isn't the point really!  The contract was to use Parcelforce and as far as I'm concerned, she broke it by using a cheaper form of delivery!

Us buyers have to rely on sellers how much the postage is going to be, as how are we going to know the weight?  I suppose we could ask, but then the seller can lie about it!

I ordered something else in the past (different seller) and the postage was about £5.50 1st class mail.  It indeed was heavy and more so than the other item that I was overcharged for!
