Have towed our fc a few times now with no problems but i have been told by some caravaners that i need a Stabiliser .    surly there is no need as i haven't had any problems even at 60mph(motorway)with it swaying any advise is much appreciated.

Hi i used to tow caravans regular without a stabiliser with out any problems if you load up corrrectly keep your tyres pressures correct and your speed down to the proper limit 50/60 you should have no problems, i now tow a pennine pullman and its like a rock tows a dream the one thing i will say is that some trailers are better than others for towing this i have experenced in the past happy towing paul!

One thing i forgot to had you may know anyway but make sure if you can put any heavy item/s over the axle [ in line with the wheels ] in the trailer this keeps it balanced, to much weight in front affects the nose weight to much in rear trys to lift the hitch off the towbar and that would not be good!! lol Paul

I think its down to your preference, if you want one put one on.

I do not use one with my American Coleman pop up and it tows fine (even forgot it was on the back at one point and accidentally got up to 80). But I had a Conway tt before and I thought that it felt more stable with a stabilizer on because it bounced about a little without it.

But as I say its up to you.
