Hi gang, how are we all?. I have the opportunity to purchase a Brand new one of these at a discount. I need some reassurance that it's a good tent and easyish to put up especially if wet. Is it warmer than a tent?. we have a heater anyway.

i've just bought a 2nd hand one and had very little problem putting it up and that was with no instructions. i was fearing the worst after reading previous postings saying how difficult it was. i managed on my own but it would be easier with two of you. it's nice and cosy in the beds as they are of the floor unlike a tent so i think they are warmer, awning just use a heater like the rest of us.
if you think it could be too cold then you r option would have to be a folding camper probably double the price though!!
i found it nice to tow and loads of room for storing everything you need to take with you in the trailer...........so its up to you
Thanks for your reassurance. Heater is fine as we use it in our normal tent. Do you use a stabiliser when towing?.

no. the trailer in only light so i dont find the need for a stabiliser. the biggest pain is drying it out, but you have the same trouble with tents. i am new to camping this year and after looking at several options i found a trailer tent the best option, easy to tow and store, nearly everything fits in trailer leaving your car free for just luggage, plenty of room and kitchen is out of harms way. i guess its everyone to there own but i would recommend one.

I have a sunncamp400 se which is the big brother of the 350se and think its great . A lot of people question these TT's and prefer the Conways, however, its worth bearing in mind that Sunncamp won Trailer Tent of the year award in 2005.
I'm sure you will love it - if you dont have instructions I would suggest posting a note on this board requesting some as I am sure someone would be happy to oblige (as they did for me)
hi there , ive got the 400se & its great . it can be a bit of a pig to put up the first few times but you'll soon get the hang of it . ive got the 400 instructions on word if you want a copy . dont forget to lower the cabin A frame all the way down when putting it away , unlike us & spend hours trying to work out why it doesn't fit . it didn't say it in the blerb , honest !!!!! . don't forget to colour code the poles as well .
