MTPLM is the Max Gross Weight. It's just the new terminology.

I think it stands for Maximum permitted trailer laden mass ? or as bordercaz says the max gross weight.

Can't see why they are making a fuss as the standard one does up to 1200kg and you are under that by a long way. 900 kg is the figure they need. However..............when we spoke to the man at the show he said the pathfinder was fine but some older models had small wheels and they couldn't always fit those. Can't remember what wheels pullmans had in 1992.

Tell them in 1992 it wasn't called the Maximum Technically Permitted Laden Mass, it was called the Maximum Authorized Mass, Maximum Laden Mass, Maximum Allowable Weight, Maximum Gross Weight or whatever else the manufacturers could think of. That's why it's been standardised now as the MTPLM.

I agree with Jan, the issue of weight can't really be a problem for them as the standard size mover should shift any folding camper, even the biggest are well within it's limits, but the size of the wheels may prove to be a consideration.

If Powrtouch won't play ball, try one of the others. I've got a Rhyno on my caravan - see http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/directory2/details.asp?revid=1113&typeid= The chap there was very helpful, they came and fitted it at my home at very short notice and they advertise it for use on trailers as well as caravans.
