Most (older) people will agree that cabanon canvas is the better of the two. They are well made tents and resell well if you decide to upgrade. I don't know if he is actually right or not but he wasn't pulling a fast one.

We used to have a Cabanon Galaxy but reluctantly wifelet wanted to move onto a tin tent, was gutted when we sold our t/t on new years eve!!,The jupiter would have been my next move but you know how it is!! I have seen the sunncamp's but personally preferred the Cabanon,It just looked right when it was all up,the sunncamp didn't seem to pitch as well, maybe it was just the way it had been put up or my fusieness

I was told that the Sunncamp is a cheap rip off of the previous years Cabanon. The canvas you could only expect to last half the life of the Cabanon.

I agree that Sunncamp fabric is not as "thick" as Cabanon but i have no complaints on my Sunncamp 500.Alot of people on Ukcs use Sunncamp and i have heard no particular complaints.

On the plus side Sunncamp tends to be cheaper than the others.

Good morning all.

Just thouht I would put my comment here. I to looked at different types of FC TT etc and found the Suncamp 350SE great value for money.  As someone posted earlier it was about £1000 cheaper than its nearest rivals.  Various sources did tell me the canvas wasnt as good a quality as other makes and that the poles were a bit thinner as well.  However it was much bigger than its nearest rivals at the time and this was the main selling point for me.

Ive not had any problems with it so far.  I suppose how long it lasts will depend on how well its loooked after. Must say I am well happy with it.

regards

griv

maybe the dealer gets more commision selling cabanon as opposed to sunncamp.
yep theres loads of cabanon but probably more sunncamps out there. I wouldn't go back to such a biased dealer though...........
£1,000 is a lot of cash for probably no visiaul difference and no better holidays...get the sunncamp

We have the suncamp 400 trailer tent and love it a lot of people are impressed with the amount of living space you have in a suncamp .But that dosent mean I am saying they are better as we havent used a cabanon . We went for the suncamp because of its price it's what we could afford with out going for credit or a loan .

Ask us this time next year and who knows what my answer may be !
