Mines similar but I can't take off the canvas as it's PVC I have some water absorbing crystals inside though.

Hi

Ive got a tt and it stays outside all year, at the end of the camping season, we take the inners out but every think else stays inside, takeing the canvas off would be a lot of work and we didn't have any problems last year leaving it on. we then put a layer of bubble wrap on as recommended by camperlands to protect against frost and then a taurpaulin over the top with 3 plant pots upside down underneath so the rain runs off easily, we pull some cord through the eyelets to tighten it  up underneith and then have 2 wratchet strapps to hold it all down. we are in the pennines and it can get very windy at the side of our house.

When we opened it up last year, it still smelt like new and we now have a lot more confidence about leaving it out side.  Some one on here puts Bounce sheets inside to keep it smelling fresh, so tried that this year but haven't opened it up yet to see how good they are.

Have fun in your new tt.

We had a Folding Camper and stored it outside with no problems. We always removed soft furnishings but left the canvas on. We would raise the waterproof cover down the centre with a row of egg boxes to let air circulat and put one of those dehumidifier thingie boxes with the crystals in that attract water in the FC. They are only a couple of quid each in caravan shops. We then covered the whole thing with a Winter cover. These are available in sizes to suit all TT's and FC's. We got ours from Barrons.

Hi,    I was told it would be better to allow the trailer to breathe, so this year I have put a brace 18 inches above the centre of the trailer lengthwise from front to back and sheeted it down to the underside of the trailer all round creating an air space over the top.  I have opened the side door a couple of times and it all smells quite fresh inside.    Roll on the new season! ........ not long to wait now.

Our TT is outside as we have no room to have it undercover. The canvas is still on but we have emptied everything else out, there is also a prop under the cover to let the air move around and the water run off. We have had a couple of dry and sunny days and I have opened it out for a few hours on the drive to give it a good airing and it looks great and there is no musty smells. We are off for Easter and I will try and get it up twice before then for its airing.

Mark
