I was wondering if any trigano owners could help me to find chassis number and tell me how to put up curtains. Just bought it and I am am a bit of a beginner.
Mine is laid up for winter, but, depending on the year I think the loading and chassis No plate is between the external toilet cassette door and the front corner, or on the A frame . As for the curtains you need to slide them onto the hollow alloy tube then slide each end of the tube through the loops behind the roof lining frill, then attach the black end plugs to keep them in position. Be carefull when pulling the curtains as the plugs tend to come off fairly easily. I hope you enjoy your 575 TC as much as we do, best beds we have had in any trailer.
Thanks for the quick response, will look tomorrow for chassis no. As for the curtains there doesn't seem to be any hollow alloy tubing that we can see only the frame poles, are they something that you attach and detach? I saw loops buy no tubing, more info would be helpful.
You should have 3 lengths of hollow alloy tubing, all the same length, slightly longer than the distance between the loops on the roof lining frill, also 6 round black endcaps to push on the ends. The end caps are supposed to stay in place in the loops but I find getting the loops over the ends of them is a pain. I just push them on the ends each time. Are the tubes in the front box? as the older models have a full length front box with two covers and the spare wheel cover, have they slid along?. If not contact the supplies or seller. What year is yours, mine is a 2004 model, there could be some differences.
Best I could do, scanned it out of the handbook. left click on the pic and it will be clearer.
I've got a 2004 575 LX (currently for sale at £4,500 with lots of extras) and in answer to your question. I remember see a plate with serial numbers on the left side of the unit ie offside side just before the A frame starts.
Hope that helps but I rubbish at explaining things.
Did you find the curtain rods, did the pic help, have you sorted out how to fit them? have you found the serial No plate, mine is on the front offside corner. Enjoy your 575 TC, we do. Soon be time to get out on the road again, another 3/4 weeks!
