We have just purchased a Cabanon Venus Trailer Tent, previously being the owners of a Diablo 600 tent.  We have seen the trailer-tent pitched in the Don Valley Leisure Shop, Doncaster, however we would like some feedback if possible re the erecting of the unit and any advice that can be passed on.

Thanks

We have the Saturn (Next model up) and it's a doddle to put up. The main unit can easily be put up single handed but it's easier to erect the living area if there are two of us, but I have done it on my own - it just took a few minutes longer.

From what I've seen of the Venus it looks even easier.  Go for it - the quality of the Cabanon range is hard to beat.

We have a cabanon Saturn which is easy to erect.

There are pictures on the Cabanon website of how to put the trailer tents up!!

Congratulations on purchasing your new trailer. We looked at the Saturn then when we we looked at the sirocco and found we could use the unit without the awning we went for it. The Cabanon range do seem easy to put up.

I hope you have many great trips we are looking forward to Wales soon

We have just bought a new Cabanon Stratos, and I can't wait until the first of April when we go for the demo and to colect it. Then we will just be waiting for a it to be a bit warmer and we will be away.

I will keep you posted as to how we get on.

Hi Mrs Sutton, we looked at the venus at the NEC show and I have to say I was impressed. Nice two berth T T and I should think it would be a doddle to put up

Hope you have many happy times camping in your new T T.  I was impressed that it folded out onto legs and not just flipped out onto the floor .....

I imagine in the colder weather and especially the coastal winds that the zip in ground sheet is good for keeping the elements at bay.

The Khyam Classic XL we have at the moment is not good in the wind compared to the domeshaped Coleman Bi-Space. The dome shaped awning on the stratos looks looks like it would be similar.

I am thinking of buying myself so please let me know how you get on, jay71 at blueyonder.co.uk
