Hi all i am new to all this very green round the edges

I have bought a conway cardinal 1995 vintage 

 i would like some advice from the people that know

I am toying with the idea of buying a sun canopy for it

to save putting the awning up for weekends

have any of you done the same is it worth spending  £200 is it me  being lazy 

many thanks andy

Welcome to ukcs, you have come to the right place, sure you will get lots of help and advice here.

Could look into the option of buting a gazebo instead of a sun canopy, or does your awning go up minus the sides???

Also try the conway owners club site there may be a bargain there. They are also a very helpful bunch of peeps.

Welcome to the addictive UKCS web site.

I have a 1988 cardinal, I found the awning fairly easy to use, have only used it once in November at a weekend meet, it was very windy and only had help from my 10 year old.

I also have the sun canopy, but haven't used that yet, only had it a month or so, I was given it by a friend who used to work at conways.

I would try the awning a few times and see how you manage, before splashing out on the sun canopy.

The lightweight porch awnings like the Panorama or Sunncamp Scenic work well on the Cardinal and are a lot quicker to put up than the proper awning, some of the COC members have used them, I believe..

A everyone has said welcome. Contact the owners club and join in the fun and games that we have on rallies throughout the year, plus all the rallies they have on here have not been able to do a ukcs rally yet due to work but have booked a weekend with conway in july at Clacton.
