Hi,

Does anyone have instructions for putting up a dandy destiny awning or is it likely to be common sense? Haven't had it long so hoping all poles are there etc.

Hoping to go somewhere local next weekend - if this rain ever stops.

Also, can you use inner tents in the awning for our boys to sleep in, or will condensation be a problem?

Hi Kath,

Have a look in the files section here (you'll have to join) The awning instructions are in there. If you have any problems I have a copy I can email you. The awning does get a lot of condensation as the roof isn't insulated. I heard some one say that the best way to sort the condensation in the awning is to put a roof lining in. If you've got inner tents they should act the same and protect the boys, whilst they're inside them anyway.

Basically, the instructions are to erect the frame attached to the camper, but leave the front legs unextended so that the roof poles are sloping downwards. 

You are then instructed to slide the awning up the sloping roof poles and attach to camper.  Lastly extend the legs to the correct height.

Personally, I found this bl**dy impossible due to the 'dropped' hooks that attach to the camper digging into the side of the camper, and the weight/unweildy nature of the roof section!!!

If anybody can give me a suggestion, I would appreciate it also!
