I think we paid around £500 for ours to fit a 1990 model. it was the wrong colour but we didnt care it was on sale at tvs. Our canvas gave up on us at the end of last season so we replaced it this year and had it made in the same colour as the awning, its like a new camper now, looks great. I agree it is expensive, we were caught between a rock and a hard place. We nearly said forget it and got a caravan but our camper was worthless without a canvas and we had only bought the awning 3 months previous. We reckon we can recoup a good part of our "investment" in a couple of seasons and still enjoy good use of it until then.
Keep an eye on the for-sales here you may get lucky.
