We have a Countryman, opted for the countryman as we liked the idea of the fridge etc. Never regretted the decision. The larger FCs have trailers that would heve been to large for our narrow (and steep) driveway so the Countryman was the only realistic option. We have used it for weekends without the awning and managed fine although we have now bought a sun canopy to use when not using the awning as it gives us an area sheltered from any rain (not that it ever rains when we are away! LOL) The Countryman has enough space for the two of us and was ok when our daughter joined us one weekend. Its tight without the awning but fine with it.

I have owened a  countryman for two years touring for a week or just weekends. I started camping with a small caravan but soon discovered that you need a tank, so I bought the countryman, no comparison the countryman is the dogs biscuits.Me ,wife,son and the dog all love it.I can travel up to 70 fully loaded with our focus diesel easily.Great campervan buy one.
