Hi yes i did mean waterproofing but also the soap that you can wash the canvas with so you can reproof after

I think I have seen lux in tescos, we are doing the same, hubby re-proofed the roof yesterday using Thompsons clear water seal, £9.89 from B&Q for a 5 litre tin, a lot cheaper than Fabsil.

We saw the thread on the Conway Owners Club site, and decided to give it a go, it worked brilliant, we bought a pump sprayer to apply and hubby used a mask and goggles. It does pong but it didn't last long.

Aldi currently have some stuff like thompsons in for £6.99 I read the label and it says it is suitable for canvas.

          HI......... use lunkenwarm water and ordinary soapflakes, after drying impregnate be careful around windows ,,use a piece of cardboard or a newspaper to cover windows ,the don´t like the stuff.
