We had our first weekend away in our new to us fc, a Pennine Apollo, superb piece of kit very well made but too small for us four. It is very similar to the fiesta or countryman and with the kids it was hard work. So the hunt is on for a bigger unit, sterling, pullman or cruiser, then this
a millenium folding camper for sale locally. Funds are a little tight so this could suit us well, but google has never heard of it!!!
What do you think???
Anyone know anything about them???
Are spares going to be a problem???
sunncamp made some folding campers for a while and it looks a good one - re spares etc I'd have thought there isn't too much to go wrong and Sunncamp is a big company - also the design is very common so if you need replacement covers/canvas any decent tent repairers could sort it for you and TVS(tent valeting services) in Bolton make new cabin canvases etc for all makes - as Lisa above says the pennine pullman range seems to fit....
Thanks for all the input guys and girls, appreciate it
Have asked the seller if we can view at the weekend, so fingers crossed.
It does look very much like an older sterling, not quite got the spec of a pullman so spares shouldn't be a problem. As suggested tvs can make a new cover for it.
We really enjoy camping but i found our first outing in the apollo a bit of a nightmare as it is too small for us and the little monsters. So hope we can get a deal on this camper.
we did it, bought the millenium suncamp, must be mad as we now have 2 units.
Will be sorry to see the Apollo go as it is a very good unit in much better condition than the millenium, unforunately it is too small for us as a family of 4.
