Sky re-ran that particular episode of the caravan show today - but by the time I noticed they'd already covered that report - I must be honest though if my memory serves me well I think they were up North and about a grand for an unfitted unit.
Actually Im green wth envy. I love Motorcycle rallies, do them all summer long and Im getting to hate packing away wet tents on drizzly Sunday mornings with a slight headache...... and thats with a Khyam quick erect tent.
Still, I dont suppose they can be towed by a sole MCycle can they?
Im not moving to three wheels inless I have to (I hope thats not famous last words there.....)
It might be worthwhile asking if we can start a seperate thread on this. We appear to be pushing miniature caravans on a mission. Anyway, this link takes you to a vast list of suppliers who are all over the place. And in response to your question mattyg, yes there is a model called the littleguy rascal which is suitable for towing by a solo bike (dependant on weight and engine size) as can most teardrops. The only controlling factor is the weight, same as for cars, the bike ahs to weigh so much and the teardrop a percentage of that weight.
I was going to say I'd seen Goldwings towing all sorts of trailers, solo, sidecar and trike. I've just realised Two showers that you should probably be asking these questions in the Caravanning section not the TT & FC section!
I wondered about that, but as this forum covers folding caravans, I thought that a miniature caravan thread would be better off in here. However should I shift a thread over to the caravan section and see what comes back? What does anyone suggest?

Have asked the site moderator for their guidance on which forum to post and also started a new thread on the caravan forum under miniature caravan to see who comes back on this. I have asked for a seperate forum area on tear drops, cos I am invloved with quite a few bikers and this sort of thing is of interest to the big bike riders, trike riders and NABD who actively seek to aid disabled riders. (I am not classed as disabled but the lower spine is degenerating to a point where I will be). Hope you keep up with the thread and keep joining in.
