Hello, we're new to camping but the missus won't go without a portapotti

We also have a thetford, no where your misses is coming from have one also but as the above post says most sites have really good toilet and washing facilities.

Hello - got my safety head on now. When you buy a porta potti consider also how you are going to carry it when full! as these can be rather heavy - especially if its a trek to the waste point.

Consider getting a expandable luggage carrier or similar (go for large wheels though as these are better over grass / ruogh terrain). We had a portaloo for years and when the kids where younger it was invaluable. We always used to buy tents with and extra bedroom pod and use to put the toilet in / changing etc..

We have the Fiamma Bi pot, it looks much the same as the Camping Gaz one listed earlier.

Think it was about £35.00.

Best piece of kit ever, especially after a long  evening round the BBQ or in the pub!!!  saves the trek  across muddy fields etc

Wouldnt go anywhere with our Thetford.

Its an added bonus in the night especially if its raining.
