We've just back from our second outing in our second hand Sterling and noticed the canvas roof of the hardly unused awning to be more brittle/stiff than the camper canvas and as such some small tears have ocurred in the fold creases. Whether it is due to any previous re-proofing we can not tell, has anyone's else's awning got a similar problem?

Sorry i don't this type of unit, but how old is it, because i would of thought pennine might be able to help you if the unit is not that old or maybe you have it repaired by them, worth considering.
