Have a look at the combi-camp, they are a doddle to put up and you can put the main bit, up on your own.  

Hi Wendy I've had two TT's and I think you would find them hard to put up on your own.I've taken one down on my own before but I had to enlist the help from a neighbouring camper to help me lift the TT kitchen onto the TT as my son was too young to help.

I've since bought a FC and it's brilliant.I can put it up on my own and it's so easy.Having gas strutts on the beds makes it easier too.There is also no pegging out if you only use the FC on it's own without the awning.Once the beds are folded out you then pull the canvas down and attach it to the sides and thats it!

The FC is bigger and heavier to tow than the TT,also wider but it is something you do get used to.

As for storage I can't advise on cost as I'm lucky enough that mine will fit in my drive but usually I keep it round my parents in their garden.

The CombiCamps look ideal for one person...plenty of space and you wouldn`t even need an awning. Why on earth would you bother with a big four or six berth FC? With a CombiCamp you just unclip the lid, swing it over and that`s you pitched.

And it`s not big, so easy to tow. Have you got a garage or driveway? Yes? A few security precautions and that`s you sorted.

If you are set on a TT look at the sunncamp 250. Small outfit, but i have to confess if it is similar to the 400SE then if you are erecting it alone it can be a handful.
