I have just sold our Sterling to upgrade to a pathfinder (to keep the wife happy!)But Iloved the sterling for the looks and comfort. You are correct the sterling does not have sprung mattresses but that made no difference to me as I had my best nights sleep ever because the beds are so comfy. The unit is so well put together and is very easy to erect. We had a 2000 model and even though it did not have the penmatic open system is was very easy to fold out.I can not comment on the cruiser only just to say we did not like the 80's style pattern on the canvas around the windows,(I know very picky)

Regards

Blood    Ps this is my first time I have replied on this forum.

Agree with blood we have the Continental and that does not have sprug beds and like blood we found we have a better nights sleep on them than our bed at home lol. You could look at the continental as it is a Steling minus EHU, frige and wardrobe but still loads of storage space don't think you will find a secondhand one yet as it is new. About £5200 complete with awning.

Jayze,

The opening system is different on both. I think the Cruiser system is better but pennine owners will contradict that statement. I also think the Conway range (made by the same company as Pennine) is a bit better quality. In the end it will be down to your own preferences and budget.

THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO.

AS YOU SAY, IT COMES DOWN TO MONEY IN THE END.

I ALSO THINK ILL BE HARD PUSHED TO FIND A NEARLY NEW ONE. I MAY HAVE TO SETTLE FOR A 2005 MODEL(ALTHOUGH MISSUS DOESNT LIKE THE YELLOW IN THE CANVAS AS MUCH..AND I GOTTA KEEP HER HAPPY TOO).

THANKS AGAIN.....WILL KEEP LOOKING
