We are fairly new to camping and have just brought a Vango colorado 600dxl, it came so easily out of the bag that I felt sure it would return, after many attempts to fold and squash out the air we have resorted to a bin bag to keep it all together!
My question is does it really go back in the bag, and if so how?
what we do is , fold the fly sheet into a long thin sausage shape, try and get it a bit shorter than the width of the bag, fold everything else the same and lay them on top of each other, lastly the pole and peg bag , then roll and hope for the best. we,ve always managed to get all the tents back in the bag we,ve had using this system, and even managed to get extras in , like tarps etc.hope this helps........wendy
we keep the poles and ground sheet in a seperate bag which was from one of them folding chairs and then the rest fits in the main bag if in doubt we normally shove it in!
Hi,
We also have the vango 600dxl which we found took some getting used when packing it up. It says you can leave the inner tents attatched but we didn't stand a chance of getting it back in the bag that way so just put it back seperate.
