My mum-in-law has had one for quite a while, she loves it, she goes on it every day, they go about 20 odd miles on a charge,(and that's without pedaling)there are a load of different types now,so happy hunting

Don't go for to cheap a one... someone did warn me on here but I didn't want OH to spend alot on one - (it was a birthday present)It cost about £75 . I loved it but It never charged up again (it seemed to come fully charged) plus the chain kept coming off very easily. Ebay purchase and we did try to sort things out with seller but because we had already given him good feedback he wasn't overly helpful. So its sitting in the garage.

If you really want one and are going to use it regularly get one from a proper shop with warranty/parts back up. Fraid I cant recommend one but they do seem fun! and would be great going up hills!
