Hi everyone,

We are about to tow for the first time this year(medium size trailer),could anyone tell me the tyre presssure carrying about 250 kilo.The only info it says on the tyres is'4.80/4.00 -8

Noticed the max tyre pressure rating is 60psi,maybe 31 could be a little low?

Yes, I have mine at 60 psi (ERDE trailer with same size wheels).

There's a list of recommended tyre pressures on the Towsure website and this was the recommendation there.

The min psi for our conway clipper is 55 but I have them at 60psi.

Although it say's maximum pressure 60psi it does not mean it has to be 60psi in them, that seems way to high for an 8 inch wheel.
