Hi everyone hope we are all set for the holidays we are off to Ocknell in the New Forest in 2 weeks.

A question of pegging on our awning ther are plastic hooks and rubberbands which do you use to peg down with.

And what are the best pegs to use. Hope this gets you thinking gear working.

We use the rubber bands and good quality metal - hard standing pegs.  We find this covers all eventualities

Always use the rubber bands to peg down - this allows for movement of the canvas in the breeze. The solid rings are there to attach new rubber bands should one break. If you use the rings themselves to peg down, there is a risk of the canvas ripping.
