Hi not sure if this is the correct spelling but this is all  I could find on the net,(Verandah poles) We have two of these with our awning they have clamps both ends,can anyone tell us what they are used for. It looks like they both fit across the front windows of our Pullman 535 se but don't see the point can anyone help.

They go across the front as you say and then you can fold the panel over them to give the effect.

What are they made from? Are they solid or elastic?

It means you can open the top and fold it over the pole to let in air on hot days without taking the whole panel out. Very handy for hanging towels to dry as well.

We use one on our TT, allows the front or side panel to unzip from the top and drape over the bar giving the 'verandah' effect as previously mentioned, its great when you have an untidy awning and no one can see the floor area

Ah I haven't got them then. What are the clips on elastic for? I am thinking for holding curtains flush to windows as the sides are on a slant? If not will someone please enlighten me?

Thank you, I will order the veranda poles from TVS when they find them, they are busy unpacking pallets after their new warehouse was built.
Do they clamp to the poles at the sides of the windows?
