Our usual towing car isn't sounding too healthy. We're due to take off on Saturday for hols. Has anyone experience of towing a trailer tent with a Focus 1.6?  I don't want to charge about tomorrow getting a tow bar fitted if its a bad idea... Thanks for any help

I used to tow an 18ft caravan with my 1.8 Focus so think you should be fine.

As Terry says, you shouldn't have any problems, we have a 1.8 and it pulls our caravan without trouble.

I have a focus 1.8 and tow a pennine fiesta folding camper with noooooo problem so you should be fine

We pull our Pennine Sterling FC with a 1.6 Focus and have no problems at all
