Thanks for the link, I've posted it on the Trigano owners group as well.

Dont give up with the pitching. We seemed to put the darn thing up a different way nearly every time for ages. I have to admit the whole roof lining in the awning is a pain as the wardrobe and toilet are miniscule and the thing takes soooo much space i cant see the point. I do use the splash thing above the kitchen though. I have fashoined a double bed sheet with pole hooks on it for a privicy toilet cubicle and it workes great and a pocket for the loo roll too. I also still seem to have more curtains than I have windows!!

Does anyone zip the awning on and flip it back then put in over the frame, we seem to get on better throwing the roll over the frame then zipping and un rolling without flipping it over the trailer. We are beginning to wonder if it is easier the proper way but i cant see me managing to shove it all over the top and pull it back.

We leave the gas bottle in the kitchen and just turn it off and keep the apare in the lockers.

We have just started using the sink, first just for waste water and it was very handy just to have somewhere to put waste water, tea dreggs, tooth paste spit, quick kids hand wash water (saved on expensive wipes), pasta water, squeeze dish cloths out in etc.

More recently we have used the foot pump tap too which is good but Mr W had to fashion a tap to clip on the side as the one in the sink is bulky and you cant get a bowl in the sink properly. I have to admit though being able to drain waste water is a great thing.

We tend to have weekends away without some bits but for the 2 weeker I have the works!!

The bike rack on the top is a real good idea and carries buggies too or a top box if you need.

Thanks muchly to everyone for the detailed replies.  Gives us confidence to try again.

Does anyone know of a bike rack for the Trigano Chantilly (approx 1998) going available, cash waiting.

Thanks

Mark

If you cant get one and you know a good welder I am told by my mate that with a photo for an idea that it would not be difficult to knock one up!!! I am afraid I have no clue about welding and am probably about to get an earful on a different thread for not having faith in welding my broken pole. I think I just need a little faith and to stop wanting everything shiny and new.

I can attempt to send detailed photos of mine should you need
