Hi Durham,
Your trip to Keilder Forest sounds wonderful, I'm so pleased that you had a lovely time there. It is deffinately on my list of places to visit.
Our 'maiden voyage' is planned for the weekend 22nd September weather permitting. We would have gone next weekend but Harvey's cousin is over from Australia visiting the family so it would be rude not to be there! We've earmarked two sites, one is Hurley Riverside Park which is sited on the banks of the Thames and the other is Sumners Ponds Fishery & Campsite at Horsham in West Sussex. Both are less than an hours drive from us. Will let you know how we got on! As to whether we go anywhere else after that will depend on the weather although I strongly suspect we will pack her up for the winter and start planning our trips for next year.
