Hi,

Can any help, I am fine putting up the trailer tent put find for weekend stops a bit of hassle. Can any suggest where I can get a smaller awning from (mine is a 350 xs) and I believe the 250 is half the size or a porch awning.

Ive also been looking into this and like a few others have decided to purchace a day tent, and not bother putting the awning up at all.

Just erect the cabin/sleeping section then put up the 3m x 3m day tent for a couple of nights

You could look at the stand alone awning which would probably give you enough space for a bit of cooking.  We had a FC (Pathfinder) and found the same though so we asked Tent Valeting Service at Bolton to create a Suncanopy for us which would attach to the main unit.  It was fantastic!  If a bit breezy we put a wind break around the sides, if not it still gave us a dry area to take coats off - store boots etc and eat if warm enough.  TVS will match the zip and make whatever you would like.

Rather than use our full awning on weekenders, I would love to utilise the awning rail on the popup which runs the 7' span on the hard top to support a sun canopy. Finding a 7x10 offcut of outdoor material locally is proving difficult.

On my Raclet T T, I used to put up just the cabin part for weekends and use a utility tent for cooking and storing things. Lol I sold it because in the last two years I have not once used the main awning
