hi everyone. we just bought a second hand sunncamp 400SE (I got it right this post!) and used it for the first time last weekend. There are a couple of poles in need of repair or replacement, the ones with the hooks which attach the awning to the trailer part of the tent, the poles with the ends which go through the holes in the kitchen area canvas and one of the poles which clamp on to the cross bars (plastic fitting) i hope this makes sense. Does anyone know where can we get these items or has anyone any tips on how we can repair them ourselves? Also has anyone got any good tips on dealing with those bloomin push in buttons on the poles that hurt your thumbs so much? Apart from the above we absolutely loved our first experience and wish we'd bought one sooner. xx
Cant help you with the spares as the only place i know of is near us however for the nipples you could try using a marble to push them in saves on the nails hope this helps

never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you on experience
For replacement hooks and things try www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com look in Camping Equipment then tent poles and accessories - they have allsorts of bits and bobs as well as loads of other things you never knew you needed.....
yep towsure is great aslong as you need enougth stuff to justify the £5 postage
unfortunatly if you just need a few spring clips that would cost less than £1 to post then the £5 postage charge is extorsionate instead of charging small customers silly postage and giving larger customers a great deal by charging the same so its swings and roundabouts why dont they just charge a fare price for the item being posted only takes seconds to place something on scales and charge accordingly

I got my C clips from camperlands. They are the metal type which I ordered enough to replace all the plastic ones as they are not very strong. Also they stock or can get any spare part you may need.
