Hi all,

we had our first outing in our "new" 2002 Fiesta at the Plassey in Wrexham last week. Only for one night mind, golf commitments getting in the way

The only problem we had was this. The pitch sloped down and across. Made it slightly difficult for us to set up, but set up we did. The kids loved it, I cannot believe the how much they prefer camping to going abroad.

Also, to any Fiesta owners. Our under bed tent has a mesh top, for insects I expect, but this made it a cold night for the occupant (thankfully not me). Is there any solution for this or should we just go for a 3 season sleeping bag.

Was the occupant using an airbed too? If so it could be the cold striking up through the floor. This can be a common problem which the tenters advise that you lay a blanket or insulated material underneath the airbed and then an extra duvet/ blanket between the sleeping bag and airbed. Apparantly it is more beneficial to have blankets under you than just on top!

An air bed was used but not a particularly good sleeping bag.

As for the skirt, our model 2002 Fiesta doesn't have a skirt on the under bed tent side. I am sure this would help if it did. Has anyone added a skirt to a 2002 model with POP clips ?
