The legs on a trailer tent aren`t designed to take weight as such...they`re for steadying the TT, not supporting it fully. The weight of the trailer etc should be borne on the wheels and jockey wheel, with the leg steadies dropped to just make contact with the ground (or wooden steady plates if the ground is soft) but no more. Don`t, for heavens sake, put the steadies down so far they`re lifting the wheels off the ground.
Oh, and don`t use the steadies for leveling either. You level the trailer fore and aft using the jockey wheel and sideways by putting a couple of bits of wood under one wheel though this is rarely necessary since the wheels on a TT are pretty close together anyway.
