Hi,

Am new to trailer tents and was just wondering whether it is normal to remove the kitchen unit from the rear of the trailer if using side-storage brackets? I am slightly concerned about the sideways strain on the brackets holding the kitchen unit to the main trailer when stored on it's side?

It would certainly reduce the weight and strain when putting it over so i would say yes.
