Hi Everyone,

as tight as you can do it up to tight and you wont beable to undo it, so tighten it up then see if you can undo it with a bit of presure and you be fine.
as for presure read the info on the actual tyres.

If you go into the caravan section and do a search on tyre pressures there is a wealth of information including a formula for working out the pressures from the tyre wall markings/weight of trailer.

It takes a little working out and I would find it for you but I daren't look again in case I got it wrong first time! My caravan is towing quite nicely on the original mathematics.

It's not quite that easy, Paul...I took my whole caravan to my local tyre place and they hadn't got much of a clue! Perhaps the one person who knows a bit more than just how to fit them was on holiday or something.

It depends on the weight of the caravan, how many wheels the caravan has, the type of tyres, and the load/speed ratings/index (or something like that) of the tyres etc. I think it was Gary (ArcSystems) who posted a formula for working it out and it seems to be pretty accurate.
