after our last few trips out, the camper has picked up a lot of road dirt and could do with a clean.

before i dive in and do it, i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of any detergant products. 

was thinking of either good old fairy liquid or some sort of car washing product - unless you know of something better.

perhaps i should make it clear, it is the outside thats needs a clean, both the 'base' and the cover.

Always used just warm water & a sponge. Brings it up nice enough.

Hi, I used to clean my car with washing up liquid, then I read that it is full of salt and abrasives (which makes sense if you thing that it is designed to remove burned on grease and food from pans!). Any decent car shampoo will do the job without taking your paint off and will do the PVC cover without harm.
