Hardstandings are usually gravel, stones and not actually solid so they should do the trick.....have fun...hoping to get away for the first time this year in my tt this weekend on hardstanding so I'll let you know on monday eh?!When will you be christening it then??

We stayed on a hardstanding pitch for the first time last year at Winchcombe. The pitch was granite chippings. We only needed pegs for the sun canopy, the rock pegs we purchased from Camping International worked fine(they look like long nails with a slight thread at the bottom and a plastic cap for the guys) .

Dont panic aboud hardstanding pitches just make sure you have enough rock pegs for your TT. If you have any doubts contact the site and ask them what you need for their pitches, most sites are only to happy to answer questions like this.

Mike
