Aztec Hawk 7's seem to be pretty new on the block, but I'm thinking of getting one.  We have a Gelert Taal 8 which is coming to the end of it's life, and if we could, we'd just buy another we love it so much.  However, the nutters at Gelert stopped making them, so I'm spending my lunch hours researching alternatives that have plenty of living space (in case of rain), 2 bedrooms, one to sleep a min of 4 so the kiddies can sleep with us until they are a bit older, and still be the sort of tent two people can erect in under 15 minutes.  (I loved the fact you don't have to use the guy ropes on the Taal, can't fall over them on the way back from the pub!)

The Hawk 7 seems to be a reasonable alternative.  I've seen too many tunnel tents blown flat to fancy one of them, and I can't be doing with multipod tents that take up huge pitches and you spend ages pitching.

Any comments on the Hawk 7's performance in WIND / RAIN, AND EASE TO PITCH from anyone who did buy one last year?

I think you need to post this in the Tent section rather than the trailer tent section!
