We have been looking at the Camplet Concorde but want to check out the Combi Camps before we make any decisions. Where can we see a Combi Camp on display in the UK, preferably in the North of England somewhere?
The only place I know of with a few to look at is Mangine in Oxfordshire.
Maybe onr of the combi camp people will let you know when they are next having a rally and you could go along and look at their ones. They are a nice friendly bunch!
Hi Pixie, I used to have a combi camp and loved it. It was a doddle to erect. even the awning we never detached. The only reason I sold it was to go back to a caravan to extend the season, and I had nowhere to put it up if I had to fold it away while it was wet. I have often wished I hadn`t sold it.
I bought it from Mangine Ltd and they still sell them but its in Thame in oxfordshire. Check out their website. they were at the last show at the NEC and will probably be there again next week if you are going. Their tel no is 01844 215900
Hi, yes the only dealers at the mo is Mangine in Thame - Siggi & Brian are great.....we are having a get together this half term - bit short notice I suppose but we're going to Sherwood Forest park nr Nottingham - anyone is more than welcome to pop and say hello and have a cuppa and a nosey - see my link for our owners group and I can send a contact mobile no. if anyone wants to pop in - we have an Easy (2 berth), family, family with permanent annex (can't think of posh name - sorry sooz and a venezia, tours fitted in for your convenience and very reasonable too
I am nr Welshpool, Mid Wales (hr from Chester) if you ever want to see mine
...are you there pixie..don't tell me you've gone on ahead anyway.....the camp-lets are brill looking too I must admit and considered a first cousin to the combi-camps so you can't got too far wrong!!
Thanks for all your answers. I am still here marynov, just have limited internet access at the minute as we are on holiday for a week in Edinburgh. Using the WiFi in Starbucks at the minute. I think we will go down to the NEC on Saturday and have a look, its only 2 hours away from where we are in Liverpool. Thanks again for all the advice.
I have had a Camp-let and now have a Combi-Camp so if you have any questions, I can see if I can help. Both TTs have their plus points - it depends what you are looking for out of your TT and who will be using it. AFAIK both Camp-let and Combi-camp will be on show at the NEC next week.
