As a newbie to the camping game i'm just after some advice on a trailer tent i'm thinking of buying.

I have no idea what's a fair price - this Cabanon Galxy DL is a 2003 model and according to the owner is in very good condition with no tears , mould etc.

The asking price is £1500 - does this souund reasonable ?

Thanks

it sounds about right, if I were you I'd have a look on ebay to get a price comparison, I'm new to trailer tents.

If you look on ebay, they are going from anything from £1200 up to £1950. The cheaper ones don't look that good, one was torn and looked like a load of rags and the £1950 one looked in first class with loads of extras.

Well, we ended up loving this trailer tent and have taken the plunge and bought it at the asking price.

It's in great condition and has been very well looked after. Also included was the electric set up and the sink unit had been rigged with a tap and a pump to supply water at the press of a button - pretty nifty i thought.

One final question - does anybody have any advice on how to store a trailer tent. I'm going to have to keep it on the drive - i guess it would be a good idea to put an extra tarp over it or would this restrict air flow in some way ?
