Ok I'll have a go at giving some sort of answer.
I didn't look at it, nor the Camplets because I wanted something bigger.
That said, I did end up with a Trigano, and I think they do a great job. The design, materials and "build" quality are great, and I think we got good value for money.
As for the concept of any of the models you're considering, I can really see why. Sometimes our awning does seem to be a pain to put up / take down. If not a pain, then sometimes it just seems to be a waste of good drinking time. Hence we sometimes wish we'd gone for a fold-out awning.....
I think camperlands display both; would definately be worth ringing to see, and if so make a day of it.
There you go, probably completely useless, but you now have my thoughts.
