I leave my TT outside (Although I dont want to.) Struggle for space in garage.

However mine has been outside all this winter. Just opened my TT up and the canvas is in perfect shape. No mold.

I usually remove the tent over winter and store it inside the house. For various reasons this year I did not.

I would suggesst if you have the space to store inside a garage, I would do so. It is more secure in there aswell.

Store our folding camper outside it has a winter storage cover on it and the thing that takes the moisture out the air(cant remember its name) and never had a problem but then again it has been used all winter.

we just make sure that its tipped up to allow any water to run off it and something under the cover to allow it to breath.

Our folding camper lived outside for 6 years with no problem. This was what we did..........

Put the crystals inside to keep it dry.

Old groundsheet over the top with a length of plastic piping between it and the FC so that air can circulate between them. Groundsheet had holes all round that we used to guy it in place.

When we got a nice dry day during the winter we would change the crystals cos they won't last 6 months if you lay the unit up for that long.

Also moved the unit slightly every month or so to stand it on a different bit of the tyre.

May also be worth chocking it in place and taking the strain off the hand brake.

We store our folding camper outside also ,just remove the roof linings ,cusions, and mattress which we store at home and cover with the breathable cover we purchased when we got camper ,just put a couple plastic plant pots underneath to allow more air to circulate. Not sure about using crystals to take away moisture as the camper is much more ventilated than a caravan and air can circulate more freely .We also put bubble wrap under the camper cover for added protection then just check on it maybe 3 times over the Winter and take cover off to air it and pump tyres up if need be.

Same here stored outside with a good quality winter cover, and pots to seperate the covers and tilt the camper to help the wate etc run off. Just opened it up for this season and no problems at all.

Cant wait to go away easter now.
