Some people my friends know own a lovely camp site near to Holbeach in Lincolnshire called The Lawns and next weekend commencing Friday 6th May they are holding a delayed event from 2020 which was originally meant to celebrate VE day.
If you can share this post to any of your caravan or motorhome forums and friends that would be greatly appreciated as we really want to help them to make this a great event for everyone especially after the difficult 2 years a lot of businesses have suffered due to all the covid restrictions and lockdowns etc.
Tracy is a wonderful cook and all her meals are home cooked, delicious and plentiful and her superb desserts and cakes are to die for.
They still have a few pitches available for this upcoming event and the fabulous singing trio The Memphis Belles will be performing on the Saturday night too. They are an amazing singing act and well worth seeing and will certainly create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy celebrating VE Day.
Pitch fees vary depending on whether you want grass, hard standing electric hookup etc ..
Events:
Fri Night: There will be a British Street party at 6.30pm with fish & chips followed by home made ice cream sundae and punch. Cost for this event is only £15.00 a head.
Saturday night is a two course home cooked delicious meal with entertainment featuring The Memphis Belles. Cost for this superb night is only £22.50 a head.
if anyone is interested in coming along with friends or holding a rally or a get together the owners of the site are more than happy to arrange pitches together for you all.
The site is situated near to Holbeach, Kings Lynn and within easy reach of the popular Springfields shopping centre too.
